Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) will be closing the application process for the B.Ed 2022 course today, i.e. May 06, 2022. Interested candidates desiring to apply must submit the application form via the official website – admissions.hpushimla.in. The entrance examination for HPU B.Ed 2022 will be conducted on May 27, 2022. Candidates selected via the entrance test will be eligible to seek admission to the two-year B.Ed course in the Department of Education, HPU; Govt. College of Education Dharamshala and private colleges of education in the state.
Application Form
The HPU B.Ed 2022 application form can be filled in via multiple stages. Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria and other educational qualifications before applying. For submitting application forms, candidates have to head straight to the official website – admissions.hpushimla.in and click on ‘B.Ed.’ under the ‘Entrance Cell’. Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, OBC and their sub-categories have to pay Rs 1100 as an application fee. Similarly, candidates from SC, ST and their sub-categories must pay Rs 550 for submitting application forms. Admit cards for the entrance exam are going to be published on the official website on May 17, 2022. The admit cards will contain roll number, name, father’s name, category, photograph, date, time and venue of the entrance test.
Entrance Test
The HPU B.Ed 2022 entrance test will be held in the objective-type test (MCQ) format. There will be one question paper with 150 MCQs. A duration of 2 hours will be given to the candidates to appear for the test. For every correct answer, 01 mark will be given but there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Note that the tentative date for the declaration of result is June 07, 2022. Merit lists are expected to be issued on June 15, 2022. After that, the counselling schedule and detailed guidelines for online counselling will be notified separately by the concerned authority.
