The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2019. The board exams for class 10 will begin from February 21 to March 29, 2019. So, the students are having only one month left for the preparation. Thus, the candidates are advised to make a proper strategy for the board exams within very less time.
As per the CBSE Board, Science subject contains three subjects named Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The exams will be conducted for 100 marks (80 marks for external assessment, 20 marks for internal assessment). It is one of the scoring subjects for class 10 students. So, the candidates need to focus on its preparations.
Make a Proper Strategy
For the preparations, it is very important to make a successful time table which includes the study time and the other activities. For a day, the student should take a sleep of 6-7 hours. Then he/she can start the battle. So, as per the toppers, the students should spend 12-15 hours in studies. The rest of the time can be used for sleeping and some other activities. In these 12-15 hours, the candidates must divide the time for each subject. Because every subject is essential.
For Science, the candidates can take 1 to 1.5 hours for each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. So, the candidates can spend at least 4-5 hours for Science.
Understand the Weightage of Questions in Exams
As there are only 30 days left for the preparations. So, the candidates are required to do the preparations wisely. To do so, the students are required to define the time and importance to the specific subject. So, the candidates should know the important topics for class 12 Science such as lenses, mirrors, direct formulas in Physics, reproduction system and diagrams of heart, flowers etc in Biology, and the derivations of SSC, FCC, BCC, balancing the equations, periodic table, scientific names etc in Chemistry.
As per the entire weightage of chapters provided by CBSE, the Chemical Substances- Nature and Behaviour is having 25 marks and World of Living of 23 marks.

Be Familiar with Exam Pattern
It is very important to understand the exam pattern of the subject. There will be a total of five sections in the Science exam i.e. A, B, C, D and E. Section A consists of two questions of 1 mark each. There will be 3 to 5 questions of 2 marks each in Section B. Section C consists of questions of 3 marks each from question number 6 to 15. Section E has question number 22 to 27 which are practical based questions.
Revision is Mandatory to Score Well
When the students prepare any topic then it is necessary that they should also revise it. The practice and revision is the main key which is helpful in scoring good marks. When the student feels that he or she has prepared the entire topic then it is mandatory for them to do the revisions if they want to score high. Students often do not get the results what they deserve because they do the preparations correctly but they lack in the revisions. It is very important to remember all the facts, theories and practicals related to the subjects.
