Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Trainee under Craftsmanship Training Scheme. An official notification in this regard with Advt. No. 06/2020 is released on the official website of HECT, hecltd.com. Applications are invited to fill up the 164 vacant posts. The last date to submit the application for HEC Ltd recruitment is August 29, 2020.
The recruitment for Trainee post is announced for various trades. Out of the total vacancies, HEC has advertised 20 vacancies for Electrician, 40 vacancies for Fitter, 16 for Machinist, 40 for Welder and 48 for COPA trade. Aspirants who are shortlisted for this recruitment have to undergo a course with 02 years duration for Electrician, Fitter, Machinist trade and 01 years duration for Welder and COPA post.
Candidates who have passed 10th class from a recognized board are eligible to apply for any of the following trades. They must have completed to the minimum age limit of 14 years before applying. The upper age limit of eligible candidates is 40 years as on July 31, 2020. Age relaxation to SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates is permissible as per the government of Jharkhand guidelines.
Application form for HEC recruitment 2020 can be downloaded from hecltd.com. It can also be obtained from the HTI (HEC Training Institute ) up to August 29, 2020. Unreserved, OBC (NCL), EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- as application fee. However, SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee submission. Complete filled application form along with all the relevant document should be submitted to Principal, HEC Training Institute (HTI), Plant Plaza Road, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004 (Jharkhand). The envelope should be marked with Advertisement No., Name of the trainee, category at the top.
The documents that should be enclosed with the form are as follows, 10th pass certificate, Mark sheet of Matriculation, Caste certificate, PWD certificate, EWS certificate, Certificate of HEC employee, Aadhar card, HTI copy of challan or demand draft and self undertaking.
Selection of candidates is determined by the marks obtained by them in the 10th class exam. The first merit list is expected to be out on September 15, 2020. The counselling for the shortlisted candidates will start from September 24, 2020. First merit list will be followed by second merit list which will be out by October 10, 2020. Counselling for the same will start from October 15, 2020, onwards. In case, the seat is still left vacant an open round counselling will be conducted on October 31, 2020. The shortlisted candidates are expected to report at HTI by November 19, 2020. The session for this year will start from November 26, 2020, onwards.
