Health and Family Welfare Department, Himachal Pradesh in its recent notification is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Peon-cum-Chowkidar. The official notification in this regard has been released on the official website, himachal.nic.in. The conducting body has announced a total of 35 vacancies for the said post. Eligible candidates can apply by submitting their forms before the last date which is August 31, 2020.
The recruitment for the Peon-cum-Chowkidaar is under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Shimla under the Employment Exchange Programme. Aspirants shall report to Dr Bharat Bhushan Katoch, Director Health Services, Himachal Pradesh for the counselling and other recruitment stages. Those who are appointed gets the daily wage of Rs. 275/- per day. They are posted at Sri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Govt. Medical College, Nerchowk Distt. Mandi.
The application form for Peon recruitment can be downloaded from the official website, himachal.nic.in. The filled in application form should reach the Directorate of Health Services, Himachal Pradesh on or before the last date of application form submission. Before beginning with the applications form, candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria first. Those who have passed 10th class or its equivalent from the recognized educational board can submit their forms. Eligible candidates must have knowledge of the customs, manners and dialect of the Himachal Pradesh. Their age should be between the age range of 18 years to 45 years. Candidates must have a minimum of 05 years of work experience in Government/ Semi-Government organization.
The selection criteria for this recruitment includes the scrutinization of the marks secured in the qualifying examination, category of candidates and various aspects. Aspirants are also advised to carry original documents for the verification purpose. They have to carry self-attested copies of the date of birth certificate, academic certificates, a certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC, Bonafide Himachali Certificate. Those who have applied for different categories must possess the certificate for the same. Such as certificate for belonging to the Backward Class, the certificate for belonging to the landless family, the non-employment certificate that none of the family members is in a government job, differently abled person certificate, NSS certificate, BPL certificate of widow/destitute/ single women, experience certificate and others.
The final appointment of the candidates is organized through the counselling process. The schedule for the counselling will be intimated to candidates through the call letter by the Director Health Services, Himachal Pradesh.
