The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have released the timetable for class 10 (SSC) and class 12 (HSC) Board Exams, 2022 at gseb.org. Along with the timetable, a set of instructions are also mentioned in the notice. The class 10 exams are scheduled to be conducted from March 28 to April 09, 2022. Class 12 exams are to be held from March 28 to April 12, 2022.
GSEB Class 10 (SSCE)
The total weightage of each of the question papers is 80 marks. But the vocational courses exam will be conducted for 30 marks only. The total exam duration is 3 hours and it will be held from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm, on the scheduled days. Candidates will be provided a 15-minutes cool-off time from 10 am to 10:15 pm. They can use this time to read the question paper and decide how they are going to attempt the paper. There are a total of 30 subjects in SSC.

GSEB Class 12 (HSCE)
The Class 12 exam will be conducted in 2 shifts- Shift 1 from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm, and Shift 2 from 3 pm to 6:15 pm. In the 15 minutes cool-off period, students will be given 5 minutes to fill in the details and 10 minutes to read the question paper.

Important instructions for candidates
- Students should write the subject code along with the subject name on the main answer book.
- No identification marks or symbols should be present on the answer book.
- Students are advised to reach the exam centre atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
- Students should not carry any prohibited items into the exam hall, like bits of paper or electronic devices. However, they can carry a simple calculator with them.
By analyzing the previous years’ trends, it is expected that the admit card will be released by the first or second week of March. The GSEB results are likely to be announced by the third week of May 2022.
