Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has begun the application process for the GITAM Admission Test (GITAM) 2021 Phase I. The first phase examination is scheduled from May 22 to 26, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the admission test on the official website gitam.edu. The deadline to register for the exam is May 19, 2021. By qualifying the entrance exam, candidates can seek admission for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Architecture and Management.
To apply for the exam, aspirants must click on the “Apply Now” button present on the GAT 2021 banner. This banner is displayed on the homepage of the official website gitam.edu. A new link shall open in which candidates must register themselves. They have to enter their full name, email address, mobile number and choose their appropriate citizenship option. Candidates must also enter an appropriate password which shall be easy to remember in the future. After entering all the details, students must click on the “Register” button to proceed to the next step.
Candidates willing to appear for GAT 2021 have to fill the application form, upload the relevant documents and pay the application fee of Rs.800 as prescribed by the authorities. GITAM officials have also provided instructions to apply for the university admissions. These instructions are different for each course and must be followed by candidates depending on their choice of course.
Engineering aspirants must first appear for the GITAM GAT 2021 scheduled from May 22 to 26, 2021. Based on their score, qualified candidates must appear for the counselling session. In this session, they must select their priority course and campus to seek admission. Aspirants who have or are going to appear for JEE, TS EAMCET or AP EAMCET exams this year are also eligible to apply for admissions. However, if they haven’t appeared for these exams, they must compulsorily appear for GAT 2021 to be deemed eligible.
Candidates applying for management courses must first appear for the GAT 2021 aptitude test. This test is a home-based online examination which is mandatory to seek admission. However, aspirants possessing a valid MAT, GMAT, XAT, ATMA, CAT or NMAT score are not required to appear for the aptitude exam. Candidates shall be shortlisted for further rounds based on their application form and test scores. These candidates must then appear for the group discussion, personal interview, and other important formalities to acquire admission in the university.
Architecture aspirants have to appear for the NATA or JEE Main Paper – II B or the B.Arch paper along with GAT 2021. GITAM shall be conducting the admission process based on the rank obtained in the qualifying examination and the aptitude test. Candidates who get the required rank or fulfil the prescribed criteria must then choose their preferred campus to seek admission.
