GITAM GAT 2021 phase 1 result is expected to be released in the upcoming 2 to 3 days. As per the officials, the result will be available under the respective logins of the candidates after May 26, 2021, and the rank will be mentioned on it. Additionally, based on the ranks of the students in GITAM GAT 2021, scholarships will be awarded to the students. The exact link to check the result will available on the website if GITAM, gitam.edu.
The University provides scholarships to the top rankers of GITAM GAT 2021. For the B.Tech courses, 100% tuition fee waiver will apply to the candidates whose rank is less than or equal to 50; 75% fee will be waived for the students with rank between 51 and 250; 50% fee waiver applies to the candidates with ranks 251 to 1000; for students will ranks between 1001 to 3000 the fee waiver applicable is 25%.
The e-counselling process of GITAM GAT 2021 is available at admissions.gotam.edu. On visiting this link the candidates have to login with their registered email id and password. On logging in the candidates will be redirected to the e-counselling dashboard. On the dashboard, candidates have to click on the “apply” button. In doing so the candidates can check their call letter.
The letter will have the instructions to complete the e-counselling process. To complete the e-counselling, candidates have to fill in the personal details, then fill in the educational details, then candidates have to select the branch, and lastly, pay the provisional allotment / semester / year fee. The fee to be paid is Rs. 52,000. In case of admission cancellation, Rs. 50,000 will be refunded while the remaining Rs. 2,000 is non-refundable.
The fee is to be paid online using net banking / credit card / debit card / UPI / RTGS.
Note that the candidates can provide up to 8 choices while selecting the branch. The preferences will be locked at 6 PM on the day of counselling.
After payment of the fee and confirmation of the branch, an allotment letter will be issued after 7:00 pm on the same day of the counselling. An SMS alert regarding the same will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates. Candidates who wish to avail scholarships based on exams other than GAT, have to upload the scorecard of the corresponding exam.
