Government General Hospital, Vijayawada has released an official notification to fill up the vacant posts of Staff Nurse, Lab Technicians, Child Psychologist, Radiographers, Operation Theatre Assistants. Candidates are shortlisted on contractual and outsourcing basis for an initial period of 01 years. The conducting body has announced 150 vacancies for Staff Nurses, 02 for Lab Technician, 01 for Child Psychologist, 02 for Radiographers and 06 for Operation Theatre Assistant. Aspirants are selected under these posts on a monthly salary basis. Those shortlisted under Staff Nurse post gets Rs. 34,000/-, Lab Technician gets Rs. 28,000/-, Child Psychologist gets Rs. 49520/-, Radiographers receives Rs. 30660/-, and Operation Theatre Assistants gets Rs. 14,250/-.
To apply for Staff Nurse, candidates who have a diploma in GMN/B.Sc/M.Sc Nursing can apply. Aspirants who have acquired an MA degree in Psychology and a PG Diploma in Child Psychology are eligible for the post of Child Psychologist. Those who have one year LT/Diploma/B.Sc/PG Diploma in Lab Technician can submit their representations for Lab Technician post. Candidates must have passed 12th standard can have Diploma/Certificate in relevant fields can apply for Radiographers and Operation Theatre Assistant.
The minimum and maximum age of the candidates are calculated as on July 01, 2020. The candidate’s age should not exceed the upper age limit of 42 years. Age relaxations to the upper age limit are provided to the reserved category. Eligible candidate can download their application form from the official website krishna.ap.gov.in. The filled-in application form with all the relevant documents should be submitted through post/in person in the office of the Superintendent, GGH Vijayawada. Aspirants have to enclose academic and technical qualification mark sheet, provisional pass certificate, 10th pass certificate, caste certificate, study certificate from 4th class to 10th class or residence certificate, certificate of registration in relevant councils, physically handicap certificate, fee payment proof.
Each applicant has to pay Rs. 200/- as the application fee. It can be paid through demand draft mode only. The DD should be drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “The Chairman, Hospital Development Society” Government General Hospital, Vijayawada.
The scrutiny of the documents and application is scheduled for August 01, 2020. After this, the provisional merit list is expected to be out on August 05, 2020. The selection procedure for GGH, Vijayawada is conducted for 100 marks. Candidates selection depends on the educational qualification as 75% marks are allotted to it. The recruitment process is done under the personal supervision of Collector and Dist. Magistrate, Krishna and Joint Collector (Development).
