Union Public Service Commission is conducting the online request for withdrawal of applications for the NDA & NA (II) 2020 exam till tomorrow i.e. July 19, 2020. The link to withdraw applications for the NDA & NA (II) 2020 exam is active as per schedule from July 13, 2020. Candidates who have earlier applied for the NDA & NA (II), 2020 exam can now withdraw their applications by clicking on the application withdrawal link at the official website i.e. upsconline.nic.in. Concerned applicants are reminded again that the last date of withdrawal of the applications for NDA & NA (II), 2020 exam is tomorrow i.e. July 19, 2020. Candidates must also note that the application fee cannot be refunded even if the candidate withdraws their application.
UPSC conducted the online registration & application process for NDA & NA (II) 2020 examination earlier in June, 2020. The online application process started on June 16, 2020 with the release of the official notification for the exam. The online application process was concluded on July 06, 2020 as per the schedule announced by the Commission. However, UPSC introduced the facility of withdrawing application forms for candidates who have applied online but do not want to appear in the exam. However, as per the details of the application form withdrawal process for NDA & NA (II) 2020 exam, only those candidates who have successfully completed their application process are able to withdraw their applications during the specified schedule.
It was already informed by the Union Public Service Commission in the official notification of NDA & NA (II), 2020 that the application withdrawal facility can be availed as per schedule. The terms and conditions of application form withdrawal were also indicated clearly. Incomplete applications cannot be withdrawn. Such applications include those that were not completely filled up before submission and/or those for which, the applicants did not pay the application fee. The Commission released a complete list of fictitious candidates whose applications were rejected due to the non-payment of application fee. Such candidates therefore, cannot avail the facility of application form withdrawal. In addition to the aforementioned terms and conditions, it was also notified earlier that the application withdrawal process is completely voluntary and the Commission is not liable to refund application fee that has already been paid.
After much, ado and delay owing to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in India, the UPSC has decided to conduct a common entrance exam for NDA & NA (I), 2020 and NDA & NA (II), 2020 on September 06, 2020. Subsequently, applicants of NDA & NA (I), 2020 were also allowed the chance to withdraw their applications with respect to similar terms and conditions. Now that the application process of NDA & NA (II) is also concluded, the application withdrawal link is activated till the last date.
Candidates who are willing to withdraw their applications have to click on the ONLINE REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC link on the aforementioned website. Thereafter, by providing the registration ID, candidates can generate a One Time Password. The OTP is sent to the registered mobile number/email id of the applicant. Only by providing the OTP, a candidate can proceed to withdraw their applications. The OTPs can be generated only till 05.00 PM on the last date of application form withdrawal. Therefore, those who have decided to withdraw their applications must do so without any further delay. Once the application withdrawal process is over, an auto-generated notification can be received at the registered mobile number/email of the candidate. In case a candidate who does not withdraw their application but receives such confirmation, they must contact the Commission immediately at [email protected]
