The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad is accepting online applications to fill up vacancies for the posts of Head, Corporate Relations-PGPX, and Academic Associate Communication Area. The last date to apply for the post of Head Corporate Relations-PGPX is July 27, 2020, while the last date to apply for the post of Academic Associate Communication Area is July 17, 2020.
Candidates within the maximum age of 55 years as on the date of application are eligible to apply for the post of Head, Corporate Relations-PGPX. Such candidates must be holding Post Graduate or Master’s qualification in any of the fields of Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Education, and related fields. They must have 10 years of post-qualification experience preferably in the realms of recruiter relationship building, placement, networking, corporate communications, and marketing. 8 years of the overall experience must be in a supervisory position. Candidates are required to exhibit excellent communication skills and a willingness to relocate and travel.
The maximum permissible age of candidates applying for the post of Academic Associate Communication Area is 30 years. Such applicants must have a Ph.D., M.Phil, or first class MA degree in Communication. Candidates having such qualifications in associated disciplines such as English, Linguistics, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Political Science are also eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in teaching, research, or industry. One of the essential qualifications to apply for this post is excellent proficiency over spoken and written English.
Eligible candidates shortlisted at the discretion of the Institute are to be called for selection interviews. A shortlisted candidate who is appointed for the post of Head Corporate Relations-PGPX is entitled to receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs 1,50,000 given that they are currently in the Level 10 or above of the 7th Central Pay Commission. The initial appointment will be for a fixed term of 3 years but subject to further extension based on mutual convenience. Those who are appointed to the post of Academic Associate are entitled to a monthly consolidated salary of Rs 31000 to Rs 42000 based on merit and performance in the interview. Additional compensation includes only TA/DA for official tours. Such candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of one to two years which is further extendable up to a total of five years depending on performance.
