Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur today, March 17, 2022, announced the GATE 2022 result, through the online mode. They have been announced on the exam’s dedicated website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2022 was conducted successfully through the computer-based format, at selected centres across the country. A total of 29 papers (including the two new additions) were organised on February 05, 06, 12 and 13, 2022.
All those who appeared for the GATE 2022 examination can check their scorecards by logging-in to the official website. The scorecard issued to each candidate mentions the marks scored in the entrance exam, cut-off marks as well as rank obtained.
GATE 2022 Paper-wise Toppers List
As mentioned before, a total of 29 papers were held that were based on the distinct field of Engineering. Invariably, each stream will have its own topper. Following is a table summarising the stream-wise toppers for GATE 2022 –

Oddly enough, the GATE 2022 result was announced at midnight, between 12:00 am and 1:00 am. Since then, all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have been flooded with interviews of toppers and videos explaining this year’s cut-offs.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the GATE 2022 examination shall be required to appear for the counselling session. As of now, IIT Kharagpur has only uploaded the dates for result announcement and scorecard release. Dates for counselling shall be updated in the next few days, on the official website.
