IIT Kharagpur has completed the GATE 2022 EE paper today, February 05, 2022, in the second shift. The paper was held for a duration of three hours from 2.30 pm to 05.30 pm. As per students, the level of the examination was of quite difficult nature. Out of both the sections i.e. General Aptitude and Electrical Engineering, the GA section was comparably easy. Although, unofficial in nature since these are prepared by experts who have years of experience in teaching the GATE 2022. As per students, the level of the questions in GATE Electrical Engineering (EE) asked was of moderately to difficult level.

Using these answer keys of GATE 2022 EE, candidates can use the markings scheme referred by the authorities for all the papers. As per the marking scheme, 1 or 2 marks shall be assigned to each correct answer and there is going to be a deduction of 1/3rd marks for the wrong answer marked by the candidates. The candidates shared that the level of the examination was somewhere between moderate to difficult level.
There were 15 questions in the General Aptitude section and the major questions were from Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Aptitude, and Spatial Aptitude. The remaining questions in the examination were from Electrical Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, and Control Systems. The candidates found the questions to be somewhere tricky and time-consuming. Those who are successful in the examination shall be called to appear in the counseling section. The final admission in any of the top IITs shall be done on the basis of the marks scored in the written examination along with the AIR rank scored in the GATE 2022 exam.
