The examination for the second paper of GATE 2022 i.e. Biomedical Engineering (BM) is over as of now. IIT Kharagpur has successfully conducted the paper from 9 am to 12 pm. The entrance exam was held at multiple centres across the country. The authorities have commenced the GATE 2022 exam from today and shall be held four days i.e. February 05, 06, 12 and 13, 2022.

The educationists have started uploading the answer keys and analysis of the GATE 2022 Biomedical Engineering paper. Step 3: Check the answer key uploaded recently and cross verify the answers marked in that with the candidate’s response
Step 4: Use the marking scheme prescribed for a particular question and calculate the tentative marks scored in the entrance test
As per the exam pattern, GATE 2022 BM paper had two sections, General Aptitude and Discipline-based paper accounting for 65 questions. GA section accounts for 15 questions whereas 50 questions were from the concerned Engineering paper. Out of the 50 questions, 11 questions shall be from Engineering Mathematics, and the rest from the core topics of the subject opted by the candidate. Using these answer keys, a candidate can easily calculate the marks that he can score in the GATE examination. Post that, the obtained marks can be cross verified with the last year cut off marks for the Biomedical Engineering paper to know the tentative qualifying status.
