GATE 2019 Application Form And Fee Submission To Remain Open Until October 03 (Today) For The Registered Candidates Only

Although, the application process for GATE 2019 is already over now, but, as per the GATE authorities, the application forms could be submitted till today i.e October 3, 2018, along with the specified amount of fee by the already registered (enrolled) candidates only. All the candidates who had registered, prior to the last date can now complete and submit their GATE 2019 Application Forms over the official website i.e http://www.appsgate.iitm.ac.in. This is the last chance given to the already registered candidates to fill up their applications. Note that, the procedure to fill the GATE 2019 application forms online remains the same.

Earlier, the closing date of the extended GATE 2019 application form was announced as October 1, 2018, along with a late fee of Rs. 500/- extra. But, as per the notification found over the official website of GATE 2019, it has been extended till today for the GOAPS registered candidates.

Also, the GATE 2019 Application Form Correction window has been made active to rectify the mistakes that one committed during the form filling. From September 27, 2018, onwards the application form correction window was made active. Candidates can log in to the GOAPS website to edit or correct their details as per dates time allotted to edit the different details.

Candidates will be able to edit their personal details only after the “Change Applicants Detail” button has been enabled over their application portal after scrutiny of the application form has been done by the GATE authorities. For editing, other details, like the exam city, paper, gender, and category the dates are not yet out. Candidates are asked to stay tuned for more updates.

GATE 2019, as confirmed earlier, will be conducted by IIT Madras on February 2,3, 9, 10, 2019. Interested candidates were needed to fill and submit their forms between August 31, 2018, to September 23, 2018, whereas between September 24, 2018, to October 01, 2018 (in case of already enrolled candidates, till October 03, 2018) the application form submission was allowed with a late fee of Rs. 500/-.

After the GATE 2019 application process closes today, the admit cards will release over the GOAPS portal on January 4, 2018. All the exam related information like exam center, date, time and other information will be available on it. Candidates will have to carry the print out of Admit card to be able to sit in the examination.
