The School Education and Sports Department of the Government of Maharashtra is all set to release the allotment and cut-off list for first-year junior college (FYJC) Round 1 admissions on August 27, 2021 at 10 AM. Once released, the merit list will be available on the official website 11thadmission.org.in. From five regions namely Amravati, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik and Pune, a total of 3,75,351 registrations were received out of which 3,06,111 applications were accepted for the first round of admission.
As per the upcoming merit list, if the students are satisfied with the allotted junior colleges, they can proceed for admission. The whole process will continue till 6 PM on August 30, 2021. Yesterday, Prof. Varsha Eknath Gaikwad, School Education Minister of Maharashtra updated the status of registrations and the eligible applications for the first general round of FYJC 2021-22 centralized admissions. The total registrations received from Amravati is 10,673 while the number of accepted applications is 8,158. Similarly, 2,37,952 registrations were received from Mumbai while 2,02,058 applications were accepted. From Nagpur, 27,239 registrations were received and 19,256 applications were accepted. A total of 22,211 applications were registered from Nashik while the number of submitted and accepted applications stand at 16,753. Lastly, from Pune, 77,276 registrations were received and 59,886 applications were accepted.

The minister also mentioned that three more rounds will be followed after the first round of admission. But, amidst all these rounds, new registrations will be accepted. Students who could not apply during the first round can do so during the subsequent rounds.

To make a new registration, they have to visit 11thadmission.org.in and choose a region from the right side of the screen. Then, they have to click on the ‘Student Registration’ button and provide the necessary details to complete the process. After that, the application form number and Login ID will appear for the students to note down. The application process is divided into seven sections. Applicants have to pay the required application fee and lock their application forms for final submission.
Candidates who have applied during the first application round can check their names on the merit list that is going to be published on Friday. Meanwhile, students can also check the provisional merit list that is available on the 11thadmission.org.in website. To do the same, they can open the website and select the region for which they have applied. After that, they have to click on the ‘Merit List’ menu and click on ‘Provisional Merit List’. The list will be available for the students to view and download.
