Directorate of Education, Delhi has released the SOSE Admit Card 2021 for the students of class 9th and 11th on its official website, edudel.nic.in. The candidates can download their admit cards to appear for the exams scheduled from August 23, 2021, to August 29, 2021. The final merit list for the successful students is expected to be released by the end of August 2021. The registration process for SOSE schools in Delhi began on August 12, 2021, to August 19, 2021. Additionally, 50% of the seats in these schools will be filled by the students studying in government schools of Delhi.
The candidates who have registered for the SOSE entrance exam will receive a private SMS specifying the details viz. personal details, date and time of exam, venue address, the reporting time for the exam, etc furnished in the admit card. The candidates can choose to download the admit card with the link mentioned on the SMS itself.
The candidates who have registered for admission in the 20 SoSEs in any of the disciplines can get their admit card for the same using the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of SOSE, edudel.nic.in/sose
Step 2: On the homepage, they need to find the link of Download Admit Card on the top right corner and click the same.
Step 3: Thereafter, the candidates need to enter their Roll number and click the Submit button.
Step 4: The SOSE Admit Card 2021 will open on the next page, candidates can cross verify the same and then download it for future reference.
The SOSE Admit Card 2021 is the only way to appear for the exam hence candidates must cross verify the details available on the same. The admit card comprises of candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and reporting time, venue address of the test centre, exam name, candidate’s photograph, and signature, etc. The candidates who find any sort of error i.e. spelling mistake, or wrong detail can report the concerned authorities for rectification.
The candidates who successfully qualify for the written test will be called to participate in the portfolio evaluation round. Only those candidates who perform well in both stages will be allotted school campuses after the counselling round.
SOSE(School of Specialised Excellence) are choice-based schools in Delhi that allow students to choose a specialization in their disciplines viz Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities and Performing & Visual Arts. The candidates participating in the entrance test of SOSEs will be judged on their overall mental aptitude. Only those who successfully qualify the same will be eligible to appear for the counselling round and stand a chance to get final admission.
