There 5 such major engineering entrance exams that are being held in the same duration as that of JEE Main 2019 April exam. These major entrance exams are SRMJEEE 2019, VITEEE 2019, KIITEE 2019, GITAM GAT 2019 and Amity JEE 2019.
Now, engineering aspirants who will be appearing or will have appeared in 10+2 in 2019 will be applying for JEE Main 2019 and also other entrance exams. Thus, it is important to strategize the calendar accordingly. It is possible to plan the entrance exam schedule for the candidates who will apply in multiple entrance exams, as there is a provision of booking preferred exam day, date and time in most of the exams.
SRMJEEE, VITEEE, GITAM GAT, AMITY JEE, and KIITEE all the exams have the provision to allow the candidates to book their exam slot. Thus, it is all up to the candidates to plan their entrance exam schedule keeping in mind exam center location, time and of course the dates.
No Slot Booking In JEE Main 2019 – A Problem
On the other hand, JEE Main 2019 April exam date, and center will be allotted to the candidates by NTA. They will not get an option to select their exam date and center. This is what has happened in the JEE Main 2019 January exam. Thus, for the April exam, one can expect the same case.
This indicates that one has to wait for NTA to allocate the JEE Main 2019 April exam date and center. Thereafter, one can book the slots of other exams accordingly.
What Is The Concern?
The concern is that, the students will not be able to book JEE Main 2019 April slots. Thus, all the booking of slots for other exams will depend on what exam slot NTA allots. Thus, few major or minor inconvenience related to travel and time may occur.
What the students must do in this scenario? Well, first of all, a proper discussion on travel plans with respective guardians might help. Secondly, candidates need to precisely note down what exam is on what date and time and sketch out the plan first on a sheet. Accordingly, they can book their slots as soon the exam conducting bodies initiate the process. Thirdly, one must not miss on any slot booking of the exams that they have applied for. This is because all the slot bookings are on first come first serve basis. Thus if a convenient exam slot is filled, it might be troublesome.
KIITEE 2019 is being held from April 15 to 24, 2019, SRMJEEE 2019 is being held from April 15 to 25, 2019, VITEEE 2019 is being held from April 10 to 21, 2019, Amity JEE 2019 is being held from April 08 to May 05, 2019, and GITAM GAT 2019 will be held from April 10 to 22, 2019. The JEE Main 2019 April Exam is scheduled in this similar time period i.e. April 06 to 20, 2019.
Thus it is clear that all the exams are clashing in the period of April 06 to 24, 2019. Thus, here the candidates will have to plan well so that their entrance exam dates don’t clash with each other.
