Directorate of Education, Private School Branch has released EWS/ DG/ CWSN Draw Result 2021-22. On Tuesday, the Directorate has published the EWS/DG Admission 2021-22 First List on its official website, edudel.nic.in. Students will now be admitted to the Nursery, KG, Class I as per the schools allocated to them.
The first computerised draw of lots for EWS/DG for Delhi Nursery Admissions was drawn on June 15, 2021. The result for the first lottery was announced on the same day at 03:00 PM on the official website. Based on the lottery outcomes, students are allocated to various private schools. Reportedly, 1,700 schools have been allocated to the Delhi EWS DG Admission 2021-22.
To check Delhi Nursery Admission (EWS/ DG) 1st Draw result, parents can visit the official website. At first, they have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to get the ‘scrolling links’ link. Thereafter, aspirants are directed to another window where they will get “EWS/ DG/ CWSN Draw Result 2021-22”. Click on the link to check the EWS/DG Admission 2021-22 First List.
In the result PDF, the allocated school, class and school Id is provided. Other credentials include registration number, name of the candidates, father’s name and mother’s name. Now, the selected students along with their guardians/parents need to visit the school to get the further procedure completed.
The process for general admission to the entry-level classes was also delayed for over two months this year. Due to the prevailing situation of COVID-19, the Directorate had put a hold on the admission process. Now, that is the first lottery for EWS/ DG/ CWSN category is out, the second list for Delhi Nursery Admission 2021-22 is expected to release soon. The announcement is likely to be made in a few weeks on the official website of the Directorate of Education.
Moreover, the admission procedure for Delhi Nursery/ KG/ Pre-Primary/ Class I for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) category is currently going on. Under the Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009, at least 25% of the total seats of entry-level admission should be reserved for EWS, DG, CWSN. The applications procedure was started on April 07, 2021. The first draw for the admissions was supposed to be held on April 30, 2021. However, due to coronavirus, the schedule got postponed.
