Haryana Public Service Commission has released the revised HCS Exam Date 2021 in the latest timetable of pending and upcoming events in July, August and September 2021. According to the latest schedule, the earlier postponed HPSC HCS Prelims exam is now scheduled to be held on August 22, 2021. Earlier, the HCS Exam Date was May 30, 2021.

The HPSC was pushed to postpone the Prelims exam of the Haryana Civil Service 2021 exam by the prevailing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic even after releasing the official notification and announcing the exam date earlier in February 2021. At the time of the release of the notification, it was announced by the Commission that the Prelims exam will be held on May 30, 2021 as an offline test.
Now, as per the latest timetable of various exams of the HPSC due in July, August and September 2021, the HPSC HCS (Ex. Br) & Other Allied Services, Preliminary Exam is scheduled to be held in two shifts on August 22, 2021. The exam shift timings has also been notified by the Commission. As per the timetable, the first shift is scheduled from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM while the second shift is scheduled to be held from 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM on August 22, 2021.
Haryana Public Service Commission released the official notification of the HPSC HCS (Ex Br) & Other Allied Services 2021 exam on February 26, 2021. The online registrations for the state level competitive exam was started on March 03, 2021 while the last date to submit online applications for HPSC HCS 2021 was April 02, 2021.
With the application process over, candidates were waiting for the admit cards to release when the Commission, through a public notice dated May 03, 2021, announced the indefinite postponement of the HPSC HCS 2021 exam. The official notice indicated that all exams of the Commission scheduled on May 21, 22 and 30, 2021 are postponed and further information will be furnished through the official website. The Commission also assured that at least 15 days’ notice will be given before the rescheduled date of any exam deferred by the Commission.
Now, the Commission has released the detailed timetable and candidates have ample time to prepare for the HCS exam since the exam has been postponed to be held in August 2021 now. It may be noted that the complete selection process consist of the Main exam after the Prelims exam.
Previously when the Commission released the official notification, it was informed that the Main exam will be tentatively conducted in August 2021. However, with the Prelim now postponed to August 22, 2021, it is highly unlikely that the Commission will conduct the HCS Main 2021 exam in August. Passing through the Prelims is mandatory in order to appear in the Main exam. Thus, unless the Commission is able to release the result of the Prelims exam in August itself, it is highly unlikely that the Main exam can be held in August.
