The University of Delhi is all set to release the first undergraduate (UG) cut-off list today, i.e. October 01, 2021. Once the list is out, the same will be available on the official DU websites – du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in. Based on the first cut-off list, candidates can apply for admission from October 04, 2021 (10:00 AM) to October 06, 2021 (11:59 PM). The respective colleges have time till 5:00 PM of October 07, 2021 to complete the approvals for admission.
The last date for payment from the candidate’s end against the first cut-off list is October 08, 2021 (5:00 PM). The first cut-off list will be out for various colleges for different courses. It will also be available on the websites of the respective colleges as well. Even this year, the entire DU UG admission process is going to be held online. It is expected that the cut-offs will remain high this year as a good number of students have secured high scores in the class 12 board results. Statistically, more than 60,000 students have managed to secure a percentage above 95%. Hence, the chances of expecting a high cut-off are more.
Once the first cut-off list is released, students have to pick a college of their choice and course from the admission dashboard. After checking the eligibility requirements, they will then have to complete the admission form. Necessary documents such as class 12 marksheet and certificate, class 10 marksheet and certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), etc. must be kept ready for verification purposes. This year, a total of five cut-off lists are going to be published by DU. However, if there are vacant seats after the fifth list, then the University may declare further lists as well. A total of 8 DU colleges are expected to have cut-offs between 99-100%.
