University of Delhi has now activated the online portal for Open Book Examination, OBE at solobe.uod.ac.in. Students pursuing their graduation from SOL, DU can participate online in the Open Book Examination by logging in to the OBE portal. Along with this, the University of Delhi has also released the date sheet for various UG, PG programs and courses. Applicants can download it from the official website mentioned above. ODD semester exams for B.COM, B.A, M.A Hindi and M.A Sanskrit begins tomorrow. All students are advised to conduct a mock login process before the examination. Applicants shall follow the steps mentioned in this article for a stress free login in DU OBE.
A prerequisite to proceed with the login process is the examination roll number and password. All applicants must remember their registered email id and keep it active while logging in. If any student fails to remember their password, they can recover it using their email id. A direct mail for password recovery will be sent on their registered email id.
Procedure to login for OBE at Delhi University’s open learning website:
Step 1: Visit the official website of open school learning at solobe.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: All applicants must register themselves for every semester. Already registered students must proceed with the direct Sign process. New registrations shall proceed with the ‘new Registration’ tab.
Step 3: Fill in the required details. Enter name and roll number as mentioned on the admit card. Submit active phone number and email id.
Step 4: Login using Examination Roll Number (Username) and Password
Step 5: If any candidate fails to remember the password, they should click on the ‘Reset password’ tab.
Step 4: Select program from the drop down list. Enter the examination roll number. One time password will be sent on the registered email id/ phone number.
Step 6: Now login using the new password.
All applicants are advised to login 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. Students will be given a total of 3 hours and 1 hour for this exam. Additional time of 1 hour for scanning and uploading the answer sheets. Differently abled candidates will get 4 hours to write their answers. Question paper will be displayed on the portal at the commencement of a particular session of examination. Maximum late submission time of 60 minutes will also be given, for students facing the connectivity issue. Students have to upload their answers online. The maximum limit for uploading answer pdf online is 7mb. Applicants are advised to scan their respective pdf’s
If a student fails to download the question paper from the portal, a request to the college department to get the same on designated email or phone number must be filed as soon as possible. The college shall send the question paper directly to the student’s email address, phone or WhatsApp. However, this option may be exercised only in case of an emergency.
