According to the admission guidelines, all the departments, except those that offer inter-disciplinary or professional courses, will provide admissions to PG courses in two modes, i.e. merit-based, and entrance-based. 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of merit in the qualifying exams. This option is open for the applicants who have an eligible Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delhi. Whereas, remaining 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of applicants’ rank in the entrance test.
The departments will release separate admission cum merit lists for both modes. For entrance-based courses, the merit list would be published by the NTA on the official website – nta.ac.in. All colleges and departments have also been instructed to set up dedicated teams of nodal officers and help desks to facilitate all the admission-related information to the candidates.
