The St. Stephens College application process has been ended on June 22, 2019. The cut off for St. Stephens admission 2019 has been released on June 24, 2019, at ststephens.edu. It is released for all UG courses. Candidates who fulfil the minimum cut off criteria are eligible to appear for the Interview round, which is scheduled to be held from June 28, 2018.
For the academic year 2019, a total of 19,862 applications have been received for 400 seats. The number of applications received for admission 2019 is less than last year, as the College received 24,168 applications for the 410 seats.
Of these 19,862 applicants 59.2% were female and the rest male. Humanities had a total of 13,089 applications and Sciences had 6773 completed applications. Christian applications were 1105. English had a total of 3505 applications followed by Economics which had 3418 applicants. Mathematics had 2231 applications. 682 applications were received from men and women for the nine sporting disciplines.
St. Stephens has released its first cut off online at ststephens.edu. The highest cut off has reached 98.75% for two (02) courses, which are B.A. Hons. Economics for Commerce Stream, B.A. Hons. English for Commerce and Science Stream.
B.A. Hons. History reached a cut off for 98.5% for Commerce and Science stream.

The cut off for Economics is same as last year, which was 98.75 for Economics for General category in Commerce stream, whereas, in the year 2017, the maximum cut off was 98.5% for Economics and English course for General category candidates in the commerce stream. In the year 2018, the second-highest cut off was 98.5% for English course for the General category candidates in the Commerce stream.
The cut off for Economics is as high as it was in the year 2018. In comparison to the year 2017, there has been a marginal increase of 0.25-1% for Humanities courses from last year, which has further been continued for the admission process 2019. However, for science subjects, there was a slight drop in cut-offs. Furthermore, there has been an increase of 0.25-0.5 percentage points across the three streams, compared to the academic year 2017.
In the year 2018, for science courses, the cut off reached 96 per cent for Chemistry, 97.33 for Physics, 94.66 for B.Sc (Programme) and 95.66 per cent for B.Sc (Programme) with computer science.
In the year 2018, apart from Sanskrit (Hons), cut-offs for the SC/ST category was also on the higher side for all courses — over 90%.
The BA (programme) was available at 97% for commerce stream students, at 95% for humanities, and 96.5% for science students. For mathematics (Hons), the cut-off was 97%, 96% and 97% for commerce, humanities and science stream students, respectively, for the academic year 2017.
It is to be noted that St Stephen’s releases separate cut-offs from the rest of the colleges of the University of Delhi. It conducts interviews for all admissions irrespective of the course.
Once the cut off list is declared, the students who meet the criteria can check whether they have been shortlisted for an interview, which shall start from June 28, 2019. St. Stephens offers admission in honours in economics, English, history, philosophy, Sanskrit, mathematics, chemistry, physics, BA programme, BSc programme (physical sciences) and BSc programme (computer sciences).
