The University of Delhi is likely to begin the registration process for DU Admission 2019 on May 20, 2019. The registration will begin at du.ac.in, first for the UG admission and then for the PG admission. The last date to apply shall be May 30, 2019, and the first cut off list will release on June 14, 2019. The dates for DU Admission have been informed by the newspaper. As per the reports, the officials hinted the dates on a Standing Committee of Academic Council.
The University offers 87 UG courses and 153 PG courses. The admission in Delhi University for some colleges is via merit and for others, it is via an entrance examination. In the merit based admission, cut off list are released on the basis of class 12 scores and students with scores more than the cut off get admission. On the other hand, in the entrance exam, candidates have to qualify the examinations.
The cut off for DU varies from college to college. The 1st cut off is the highest and most important and can go as high as 98 to 99. Last year, the cut off for SRCC, Hansraj and Hindu college was above 97.5%. In all, DU releases 12 cut off list and all are released online, on the official website.
The registration process for DU Admission 2019 is very simple and user-friendly. To fill DU Admission Form 2019, visit the official website of DU, i.e. du.ac.in. To register online, candidates need to provide details like their name, email id, mobile number, etc. Once the registration part is over, the candidates need to login to proceed to fill in details in the Application Form.
In the DU Application Form, students have to fill in their Personal details, academic qualification details, etc. In the next step upload the necessary images in the form. Remember that the images are to be uploaded as per the specification.
Take a final look of the complete application. Check that the details provided is correct or not. If satisfied then proceed to pay the registration fee. Candidates from General category have to pay Rs. 150/-, Rs. 75 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs. 100 for Sports and ECA.
St. Stephens has already announced the date for registration. Students will be able to access prospectus, application and residence forms from May 06, 2019. It will be available on the official website, ststephens.edu. St. Stephens offers 410 seats across 10 courses. 50 per cent seats in the college are reserved for Christians candidates and rest is open for others.
