In the Shyam Lal College, the admission for the 5 science and 2 Commerce courses is still open. The science courses in which the admission is still open are B.Sc (H) Chemistry and Maths, B.Sc (Phy. Sc) CH, CL, and EL. For the commerce stream, the college has still seats left in the B.Com (H) and B.Com course.

The fourth cutoff list of DU was scheduled to be out on July 15, 2019. However, the lists are being declared ahead of their release dates.

The cut off for merit-based courses is prepared by considering factors like the number of registration received, highest class 12th marks for each board, average class 12th marks in each board, number of seats in each college an course, etc. It is to be noted that as the DU cut off releases, the cut off keeps getting low. Most of the seats in the courses and colleges are filled by the first three cut offs.

After the 4th cutoff list is out the candidates who have qualified have to visit the official website of DU and download the admission form. To download the form, the candidates need to login by entering their registered email id and password. It is to be noted that the admission form is different from the registration form. The DU Admission form is to be filled once the cut off is released by the eligible candidates.

Once the candidates have filled in necessary details in the DU Admission Form, they need to report at the respective college for verification of documents for admission.
