National Testing Agency announced result of NTA UGC NET June 2019 exam today in early morning hours. On official website of NTA that is nta.ac.in, one link was activated for result, and another for cut off. Whereas the first one leads to a login page, where one has to login with application number and date of birth, the second one opens a PDF file containing cut offs of all 81 subjects for JRF and Assistant Professor for result of UGC NET.
Upon logging in, candidates can see marks obtained in paper 1 and paper 2, percentile score, and status of qualifying or not qualifying. Several candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility Test in June took to social media to share their results.

However, no result 2019 link has been made available at ntanet.nic.in which is the official website of NTA UGC NET June 2019 exam.
A few hours into the result being declared, candidates complained that they were getting an error while trying to login. The error message shows that application number is invalid.

It is not an isolated case, several candidates have reported it. Accompanying reports of the invalid application error, are speculations on reason behind it. However most speculations are untrue, and likely reason of the error is either actual entering of invalid details, or server issue.

If a candidate is getting invalid application number error, then first and foremost thing to do is to check that correct application number is being entered. To do it, avail forgot application number facility.
Second thing to do is to try to check result using a different device. Or, check that browser is latest or use another browser. Sometimes some browsers do not allow execution of certain scripts that lead to such issues.
Third option is to refresh page again and try in some time. Try clearing cache and doing it. Result pages on most servers are sensitive, and cookies and cache sometimes create conflicts on such login pages.
Fourth option is to wait for some time and try in few hours. If it is a server side problem of nta.ac.in, ntanet.nic.in, then it will be resolved in some time, and you can check result then.
It is also expected that alternate links for result will be activated at ntanet.nic.in. Or alternate server links may be provided at nta.ac.in only. Although some candidates are being skeptical about whether result has been announced or not, it is assured that result is indeed out.
NTA conducted UGC NET June 2019 from 20th to 26th June on five days, with two shifts in each day.
