After the release of the DU first cutoff list on June 28, 2019, it has been reported that around 23,000 students have taken admission across various DU colleges. In this line, the second cutoff for DU Admission 2019 will be out today, July 03, 2019.
With cutoffs as high as 99% and 98.75% for the colleges like the Hindu, St. Stephens and SRCC, the famous DU Admissions remain a tough nut to crack. The highest demand remains for courses like B.A. (H) English, B.A. (H) Economics, B.Com, and B.A. (H) Political Science.
What To Expect in the second cutoff list? It is expected the cut off in the second list might fall with a very short margin, since the colleges do not want to over-admit. As per the Press Trust Of India, out of the total 63,000 seats available in various affiliated colleges of DU, over 19,000 seats have been filled by Monday. It has been also reported that almost one-third of seats have been filled in most of the colleges and the DU second cutoff 2019 is expected to fall marginally. As it was seen in the last years 25% of the DU seats were filled after the first cutoff and the cutoff marks in the second cutoff fell with a very minute margin.
The admission process based on the second DU Cutoff List 2019 will be done from July 04 to 06, 2019.
