MHRD Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, will be going live with his webinar addressing student’s queries about exam dates and related issues on December 10, 2020. This webinar was supposed to be held on December 3, 2020, however, it has been delayed to allow the students more time to send in their queries to MHRD.
It has been also postponed to ensure that the government addresses as many lingering concerns as possible, clarified the education minister. The COVID-19 pandemic has delayed the 2020 academic year and created many problems in the upcoming academic year as well. To ease the issues of the upcoming academic year and provide students a clear idea of the board exams and entrance exams, the live webinar is scheduled for coming Thursday i.e. December 10, 2020.
Webinar for announcing the dates for the CBSE 2021 board exams as well as entrance exams like JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021.
MHRD has invited the queries of the candidates on social media. Students have to simply post their queries under the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive. As of now, most of the queries of the students is regarding the exam dates, online classes, attempts of JEE Main exam, syllabus, etc. Therefore, there is a high possibility of the minister announcing the examination dates for the CBSE 2021 board exams as well as entrance exams like JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021, CMAT 2021, GPAT 2021, and many more.

Earlier, National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced that JEE Main 2021 shall be scheduled in February rather than January 2021. Moreover, the education minister had already requested NTA to create a revised schedule for the upcoming entrance exams. Furthermore, the CM of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik had also written a letter requesting the Prime Minister to announce a tentative schedule for school board exams. By doing so, students shall prepare accordingly for their exams.
Teachers have also shared concerns over conducting board exams without physical classes. They have suggested an extension of the session and a time of at least 3 months between school reopening and conducting Class 10, 12 board exam.
