The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Delhi will close the DIET Delhi Application Form 2021 tomorrow on the official website i.e. scertdelhiadmission.nic.in. The council has released the DIET Delhi Application form on August 03, 2021. Once the application form filling is over, the candidates can edit the application form from August 11, 2021, to August 12, 2021.
As per the eligibility criteria, available on the official website, the minimum age limit for the unreserved category is 24 years. For the candidates of the SC/ST/PWD category, there will be an age relaxation of 5 years. The Candidates seeking admission to D.El.Ed. course should have cleared the Intermediate exam from a state-recognized board. The aggregate marks for D.EL.ED course is around 55% marks in the Class 10+2 exam.
According to the official schedule released by the council, it is expected that the ranks list will be declared by August 14, 2021. Also, the first merit list will be declared on August 17, 2021. Similarly, the first session for all the successful candidates will commence on August 30, 2021.
The successful candidates will get admission in either D.EL.ED and DPSE courses as per the course choice made by the candidates. Based on the application form of the candidates, the council will draw a merit list. The merit list will be derived on the basis of the qualifying marks scored by the candidates in the last 10+2 exam. The final decision regarding the selection of candidates will be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the best 5 subjects of the 10+2 examination.
The candidates whose name has appeared in the rank list drawn by the council have to appear for the counselling session. As per the official schedule, the candidates are required to carry all original documents as well as submission of 2 sets of all documents along with the admission fees slip for verification and provisional admission. If the candidates fail to submit the documents then, the seats will be cancelled and will be allotted to other candidates.
As per the official brochure, for the D.EL.ED course, the total seat intake is 1040 for DIETs while 1950 for SFS institute. In the same way, for the DPSE course, the total seat intake will be 1500 for the SFS institute.
