Deputy Commissioner, Darrang District, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 14 vacancies for the post of Orunodoi Sahayak. An employment notification is published in this regard at the website of the Darrang district i.e. darrang.nic.in. Selection of eligible candidates will be done through Walk-in Interviews scheduled to be conducted tomorrow on September 13, 2020. Intending candidates have to directly appear in the interview on the scheduled date with necessary documents provided that they satisfy the minimum eligibility conditions. It must be noted that all of the vacancies are to be filled up on a temporary basis only.
Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang district, Assam has advertised 14 vacancies for the post of Orunodoi Sahayak. The vacancies are all temporary in nature and available under the Orunodoi Scheme. As per the break up of vacancies, 04 openings are available for each of the regions of Sipajhar, Dalgaon and Mangaldai LAC and 02 openings are available in Kalaigaon LAC. The period of engagement is for a maximum duration of 02 months only. Selected candidates are entitled to receive a consolidated salary of Rs 15000 per month after the appointment. However, candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment.
As per the notification released by DC Darrang, candidates who have attained the minimum age of 18 years are eligible to apply for the recruitment. However, one must not be more than 35 years old as on the date of publication of the notification in order to apply. It must be noted that candidates who are proficient in the local language of the district and aware of the local area are eligible to apply. Furthermore, one must be a Graduate degree holder in any discipline to apply for the recruitment. In addition to this qualification, one must also have a Certificate of at least one year’s duration of a Computer Diploma course in order to be eligible to apply.
The selection of the interested candidates will be done through the walk-in-interview scheduled to be conducted on the 13th of September, 2020. Those who have a personal laptop/desktop will be preferred for selection. Candidates intending to appear for the interview on the scheduled date have to report to the interview venue on or before 09.30 AM. The interview will be conducted at the Conference Hall, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, Assam.
There is no indication regarding the forwarding of applications to the authorities prior to the interview date. Instead, candidates have to appear at the interview with a photo identity proof and all relevant educational/experience certificate and other supporting documents in original. Candidates appearing in the interview are not entitled to be reimbursed any TA/DA for attending.
