CTET Paper 1 2021 Exam is now over. The Paper 1 exam was conducted on January 31, 2021 from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Several CTET educators and experts have released the memory-based CTET Answer Key for Paper 1 as well. As per the experts’ reviews, the CTET Paper 1 exam was of moderate level. As the examination took place after such a long gap, candidates were completely prepared. Hence, the CTET examination was termed as easy to moderate when comes to difficulty level. CTET Exam Analysis 2021 Paper 1
The overall Level of CTET Paper 1 was of Moderate level. Questions were asked as per the CTET exam pattern. The CTET Question Paper covered topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Language 1 and Language 2. From each of these sections, 30 questions were asked respectively. There were no changes in the exam pattern of the CTET exam.
Starting with the Child Development section, most of the questions were based on the teaching learning process and theories. As per the analysis, the Child Development section was of easy to moderate level. Whereas Pedagogy part was of moderate to difficult level. Most of the questions are asked from the Learning and Pedagogy (03), Assessment and CCE (01), Inclusive Education and Progressive Education (03), Different theories (06) and others. One can notice a slight increase in the number of questions from the Teaching-learning process and theories section. Candidates who have attempted around 22-25 questions in Child Development and Pedagogy have good number of attempts.
Environmental section (EVS) was of moderate to difficult level. For the first time, the questions were asked in the Arithmetic Reasoning and Direction in EVS section. Other topics from which the questions were asked are as follows Natural resource, General Science. A good number of attempts in Environmental Studies is around 19 to 22 questions. There are no questions from the Water, Nutrition and Food topics. A good number of questions were asked from Static GK (05 questions).
The questions from Mathematics content were of Moderate difficulty. No question was asked from time, work and data analysis. Moreover, this section majorly covered questions from topics such as Simplification (04), Numbers and Number system (05), Mixture and Ratio (02) and Pedagogy of Mathematics(15). In this section, a good number of attempts is between 20 to 23 questions.
The Hindi language section was of easy to moderate level and mostly grammar based. English section, on the other hand, was a bit lengthy and moderate level. Questions were based on Passage, Poem and Language Pedagogy of respective language. As per the analysis, a good number of attempts in Hindi and English language are between 20 to 24 questions respectively.
