CSIR – Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu is conducting an online interview for Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II and Senior Project Associate. The recruitment is announced to fill up 6 vacant posts. Eligible candidates are invited for the online interview that is scheduled for September 10, 2020. The last date to submit online application form through email is today, September 04, 2020, by 05:00 PM. The online interview will be conducted through video conferencing on Skype/ MS Team/ Google Meet as decided by conducting body. The interview will start from 10:00 AM onwards. Also, the posts that are announced are on a temporary basis. Candidates are recruited under Project No. : MLP-110005 with titled – An essential oil based formulation for Post harvest storage of fruits and Project Number: MLP-110008 titled – Nucleoside as biofilm inhibitors of bacteria and to understand the underlying mechanism of action. Candidates who clear the interview round gets appointed and receives a monthly salary. Those who are selected as Project Associate gets Rs. 25,000/- per month, Project Associate-II gets Rs. 28,000/- and Senior Project Associate gets Rs. 42,000/-.
To apply for Project Associate-I, candidates must have M.Sc./B.Tech in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology from a recognized university. Candidates who are applying for Senior Project Associate have to ensure that they possess M.Sc/ B.Tech in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology and at least 04 years of work experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions. Those who have PhD in Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology can also apply for Senior Project Associate post. Candidates with M.Sc/ B.Tech in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or Allied areas with 02 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions.
Along with educational qualification, CSIR-IIIM has also specified the desirable experience qualification. Candidates applying for Project Associate-I must have experience in the field of Mycological Techniques. To apply for Project Associate-II, aspirants should have relevant experience in making formulation/coatings, handling the Resistant Microbes/ Molecular Biology/HPLC, Nucleoside synthesis. Experience in antimicrobial and antibiofilm evaluation of molecules and molecular biology is required for Senior Project Associate.

Candidates have to submit the complete application form with digital platform ID, email ID, mobile number and self -attested copies of relevant documents to email id – [email protected]. Applications received after the last date as specified by CSIR-IIIM are not accepted.
Based on the application form, candidates will be invited for the interview round. The list of the eligible candidates for a personal interview will be displayed on the website on September 08, 2020 by 04:00 PM. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the online interview from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
