The Central Reserve Police Force is inviting applications to fill up 789 Group B & C vacancies for various paramedical posts. The posts are all combatised, non-ministerial, and non-gazetted in nature and likely to become permanent. A detailed recruitment notice in this regard is published on the official website i.e. crpf.gov.in. Along with it, the sample application form is also appended for prospective applicants. Applications for CRPF paramedical staff recruitment can be submitted in person or through post starting from July 20, 2020. The last date of receipt of applications is August 31, 2020. Written exam for the selection of applicants is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on December 20, 2020.
Detailed post and category-wise bifurcation of the advertised vacancies has been indicated through the official recruitment notification. There are single vacancies available for each of the posts of Inspector (Dietitian), Assistant Sub-Inspector/Electro Cardiography Technician, Head Constable (Electrician), Constable (Table Boy), Head Constable (Lab Technician) and Head Constable (Radiographer). There are 175 vacancies existing for the post of Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse), 84 for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist), 64 for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Laboratory Technician), 88 vacancies for the post of Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Medic), 84 for the post of Head Constable (Junior X-Ray Assistant), 116 for the post of Constable (Cook) and 121 for the post of Constable (Safai Karmachari).
In addition, the other vacancies are for the posts of Sub Inspector (Radiographer) (8), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist) (5), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Dental Technician) (4), Head Constable (ANM/Midwife) (3), Head Constable (Dialysis Technician) (8), Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant) (5), Head Constable (Steward) (3), Constable (Masalchi) (4), Constable (Dhobi/Washerman) (5), Constable (W/C) (3), and Head Constable (Veterinary) (3). The detailed eligibility criteria are specified against each individual post in the recruitment notification. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector, Head Constable, and Sub-Inspector.
There are openings for candidates who have passed Class 10 and have acquired other relevant qualifications. In order to apply for the post of Inspector (Dietician), candidates need to have a B.Sc. (Home Science/Home Economics) degree with nutrition as a subject. In addition to the educational qualifications, the detailed recruitment advertisement also enlists the permissible upper and lower age limit to apply for individual posts. In addition, candidates also need to comply with the specified minimum physical standards. Aspiring candidates are advised to go through the advertisement carefully and ensure that they are eligible in terms of all aspects.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be conducted through a written exam and other physical fitness tests as indicated in the detailed recruitment advertisement. The written exam is scheduled to be conducted in nine major cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Nagpur, and Ajmer. At Stage-I, fitness tests are to be conducted at the designated recruitment centers. For this, separate admit cards are issued. Those who qualify are issued admit cards for the written exam. The first part (Part-A), consists of a single paper of 100 questions that must be completed in 02 hours. The second part (Part-B), consists of 50 questions of 01 mark each. Following the written test, trade tests are to be conducted. The trade test carries 20 marks and it is mandatory for a candidate to qualify in it. The final stage if the Medical exam.
Applications are to be sent through post or submitted in person only. The proforma is appended with the detailed advertisement. A fee of Rs 200 must be paid for Group B posts while for Group C posts the exam fee is Rs 100. The fees must be paid by unreserved, EWS, and OBC category candidates while others are exempted. Exam fees can be paid by Indian Postal Orders and Bank Drafts only.
