The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2022. However, the Agency has not yet released the admit cards for the examination and it is expected that the same will be released soon. As per a public notice released on the official website – cmat.nta.nic.in, the CMAT 2022 examination is going to be conducted on April 09, from 3 PM to 6 PM. This national level entrance examination is conducted for admission to management programmes in the country.
Admit Card Release Date
Since the official date has not been released yet, it becomes important to take a look at the previous year trends. However, the trends also show that NTA does not follow the same pattern for releasing the admit cards. The table given below highlights the same.
Year | Exam Date | Admit Card Release Date | Difference |
2021 | March 31, 2021 | March 24, 2021 | 07 days |
2020 | January 28, 2020 | December 24, 2019 | 35 days |
2019 | January 28, 2019 | January 07, 2019 | 21 days |
If one goes by the immediate previous year trend, then they can expect the admit cards to be out at least 07 days prior to the exam date. In other words, candidates can expect the admit cards to be out by April 02, 2022. However, it is advised to keep an eye on the official website for more updates. The direct link to download the admit cards will be activated as and when the admit cards are released.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must download the admit cards online and appear for the examination at the given centre, date and time as mentioned. However, in case any candidate is unable to download the admit cards, then they may approach the helpline between 10 AM and 5 PM. Similarly, in case of any discrepancy in the details mentioned in the admit cards, the same helpline can be approached. Other than that, here are some instructions that must be followed.
- The admit cards will not be sent via post or any other means.
- No duplicate admit cards will be issued at the examination centres.
- Candidates must not mutilate the admit cards and preserve the same for future reference.
- Along with a hard copy of the admit card, candidates must carry one passport-sized photo, one government authorized ID and PwD certificate (if applicable).
It is important to note that candidates must report to the examination centres at least two hours prior to the commencement of the CMAT 2022 exam. Also, the registration desk will close 90 minutes before the exam begins. Candidates must not change their examination hall under any circumstance.
