Dispute Resolution Mechanism for Students
In case a candidate has any objection or issue with the marks mentioned in the results, he/she must send a written application to the respective school. This application must mention the objection in detail along with proper reasons justifying it. Thereafter, schools are instructed to review all these applications and if satisfied, send them across to the CISCE authorities. These accepted applications must contain the school’s comments accepting the objections along with valid documents to support the student’s issues.
All the accepted applications must be emailed to CISCE on their official email ID [email protected] in case of ICSE students and [email protected] in case of ISC students. These requests must be forwarded to the board authorities latest by August 01, 2021. Beyond this date, no requests will be entertained by the board. CISCE will review the applications along with the school’s remarks and the documents attached. Decision on the same or cases of marks alternation shall be conveyed to the respective head of school in due course of time. Students must note that dispute resolution is only applicable in case of calculation errors.
Previously, CISCE authorities were scheduled to conduct the ISC 2021 board exams from April 08 to June 18, 2021. Similarly, The ICSE board exams were to be conducted from May 04 to June 07, 2021. However, due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, board exams for Class 10 and 12 were cancelled. This was to ensure the health and safety of students. Similar to CBSE, CISCE also decided to evaluate students based on certain alternate objective criteria.
