The mark sheets for the CISCE semester 1 exam are likely to be available by the first week of January 2022. CISCE’s last exam was held on December 20. Students can check the bifurcated syllabus and start preparing for semester 2.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully conducted the ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) semester 1 examination. While the ICSE exams ended with Environmental Science (Group II Elective) on December 16, ISC exams ended on December 20 with Accounts. However, now with the conclusion of the examination, students seem to be in need to know what’s coming next.
This time, CISCE has decided to conduct the board examinations in two semesters. With the completion of the semester 1 examinations, students will now have to await the semester 2 exams. Before that, let’s take a look at the result date, passing marks, and other important parameters.
Result Date
CISCE has not yet issued any official date on which the semester 1 results will be announced. However, as per sources, it is reported the results will be released together after combining the marks of both semester 1 and semester 2. Unlike previous years, the board exams have been bifurcated this time. So, ultimately, the final result will be declared after the conclusion of semester 2. Is expected that only the mark sheet for the semester 1 exam will be provided by the first week of January 2022.
Passing Marks
It is very unlikely that there are any passing marks for the CISCE semester 1 exam specifically. The ultimate results of a student will only be determined after combing the marks of semester 1, semester 2, practical and internal assessments. The marks will be provided out of 100 after the completion of semester 2. The percentage of marks scored by the students can only be known after that. At this point, it’s not possible to say whether a student has passed or failed the semester 1 exam.
CISCE Semester 2: Syllabus
The Council has also released the bifurcated syllabus for both semesters under ICSE and ISC. Students and guardians will be able to check the same from the official website cisce.org. All one has to do is go to the website and click either or ICSE or ISC and then select the ‘Regulations and Syllabuses’ option and proceed forward to check the semester 2 syllabus.

CISCE Semester 2: Dates
The exact dates for the semester 2 exams are also unknown yet. So far, CISCE has only declared that the semester 2 exams are going to take place from March to April 2022. It is compulsory that the students appear for both the semester exams to be eligible for the CISCE certification.
