Central Institutes of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Director. As per the advertisement, the vacant post will be filled on a promotion and deputation basis. The applications for CIFNET recruitment can be submitted within 60 days from the release of the notification. The post of Assistant Director is announced for Official Language in Level 10 of pay scale Rs. 56100/- to Rs. 177500/- (per month). The newly appointed Assistant Director is posted at CIFNET Headquarters, Kochi. The published vacancies are open through the composite method. This means that the announced vacancies are filled through promotion plus deputation basis (includes short term contract). To apply for the Assistant Director post, candidates must hold an analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. Those who have 03 years service in the grade served after the appointment in Level 7 can also apply. These candidates have to ensure that they have a Master’s degree in English/ Hindi language while applying. Candidates who have studied one of the languages other than Hindi included 8th schedule in the 10th class is also required.
Moreover, as the recruitment is for promotion and deputation basis, candidates must have a minimum of 03 years of work experience. It can be in the field of using or applying terminology in Hindi and Translation Work from English to Hindi and vice versa. Those who have experience of teaching in Hindi or English or research in English or Hindi language under the Central Government or State government can also apply.

In the form, candidates have to provide details such as date of birth in Christian era, educational qualification details, date of entry into service, caste certificate (if applied for reservation), any search/ innovative measure or any such achievement, and others.

Along with the form, candidates also have to attach copies of the ACRs for the last five years, vigilance clearance and integrity certificate.
