CEED Admit Card 2021 To Be Released on 1 Jan; Know Syllabus, Exam Pattern

IIT-Bombay is going to release the CEED 2021 Admit Card on their official website ceed.iitb.ac.in for the entrance exam which is scheduled on January 17, 2021.

CEED Admit Card 2021

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-B) is going to release the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2021 on January 1, 2021. Registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website i.e., ceed.iitb.ac.in. The national-level entrance exam is scheduled on January 17, 2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in allotted examination centres. Through this exam, eligible students can get admission for various postgraduate courses in the field of design. Based on their rank and priority, students can seek admission in prestigious institutes across the country.

CEED 2021 entrance exam comprises of two parts – Part A and Part B. Both parts together cover a variety of topics and constitute the syllabus of the examination. Part A covers topics like visualization and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness analytical and logical reasoning, language and creativity, design thinking and problem solving, observation and design sensitivity, etc. Part B comprises of topics like drawing, creativity, communication skills and problem identification skills.

The entrance exam is of three hours duration in which part A shall be conducted in the first one hour and Part B shall be conducted in the remaining two hours. Part-A shall be in the computer-based format where Part B shall be held in the pen and paper format. The questions shall only be displayed in the English language.

Part A consists of objective questions of three types – multiple-choice questions, multiple select questions and numerical answer type questions. Part B shall have 5 questions aimed at testing the drawing, design and writing skills of candidates. Both parts hold an equal weightage of 100 marks each in the examination.

The CEED 2021 score shall be calculated giving 25% weightage to marks obtained in Part A and 75% weightage to marks obtained in part B. While Part A marks are used to shortlist candidates, Part B scores are manually evaluated for only the shortlisted candidates of Part A. However, there are no decided criteria to evaluate Part B paper also no re-evaluation facility is given after the declaration of results.

IIT-B is going to release the CEED 2021 Admit Cards on their official website on January 1, 2021. Registered candidates can download their admit card by entering their login credentials on the official website. These credentials include candidate email address and password. After clicking on the ‘login’ button, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Students are advised to go through the admit card to ensure that all details mentioned in the document are correct. In case of any discrepancies, they are asked to email the authorities at [email protected] latest by January 7, 2021, 5:00 pm. If the admit card has no mistakes, candidates are advised to take a clear printout of the same for the examination. CEED 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on January 17, 2021, and results for the same are likely to release on March 8, 2021.
