Office of the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer is inviting applications via email to fill up openings for Paramedical staff in COVID Care Homes (CCH)/Covid Gruha at the Panchayat Level for the district of Cuttack, Odisha. An official recruitment notification containing the detailed terms and conditions of the recruitment posts available, and other important information is available at the website cuttack.nic.in. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the recruitment which is to be done on a temporary basis. Applications can be forwarded in the specified format which is available along with the detailed recruitment advertisement. Applications can be forwarded starting from July 18, 2020, till the posts are filled up. However, as the posts are to be filled up on a first-come, first-serve basis, therefore, candidates are advised not to wait and submit their applications as soon as possible.
The Office of the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer has advertised the openings for the posts of ANM Nurse, Staff Nurse and Pharmacist in the detailed recruitment advertisement. The detailed eligibility conditions in terms of experience and minimum educational qualifications are also indicated for each post. In order to apply for the post of ANM nurse, candidates must be unemployed, trained and registered ANMs under the OSNC. Unemployed, trained and registered staff nurses with OSNC are eligible to apply for the post of Staff Nurse in case of non-availability of ANM Nurses. On the other hand, unemployed, trained and registered pharmacists under the Odisha Pharmacy Council are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist in case of non-availability of both ANM and Staff Nurses. Selected candidates are to be paid remuneration calculated on a daily wage basis. For the post of ANM Nurse, the daily wage rate is Rs 850. For the posts of Staff Nurse & Pharmacist, the daily wage rate is Rs.1000.
As specified before, the selection of the applicants is to be done on a first-come, first-serve basis which is why the applications can be forwarded till the posts are all filled up. The employment is on a temporary basis and selected candidates are to be appointed for a temporary contractual period of 3 months in COVID Care Homes/Covid Gruhas in the district of Cuttack at the Panchayat Level.
The applications for the aforementioned recruitment must be forwarded through email, in the prescribed proforma along with the scanned copies of all necessary supporting documents in a single pdf file. Applications forwarded by other modes such as in person or by posts are not accepted. Candidates can download the format of application from the aforementioned website. The application form must be filled up and signed and a recent photo of the candidate must be affixed.
