The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hereby notifies that they will hold the term 2 board examinations for class 10, as well as class 12 students from April 26, 2022.They will hold the exam offline. This information has been conveyed vide the latest circular published by CBSE.
The board has issued the notification to media houses. Soon, they will publish the detailed timetable, with exact exam dates at cbse.nic.in. Exam will commence on 26th April means that the exam will start on this date.

The complete text of the notification is as follows:
CBSE vide Circular No Acad-51/2021 dated 5th July 2021 notified that in the session 2021-2022, Board Examinations would be conducted in two terms, ie.
Term I and Term II. This decision was taken due to the uncertainty arising out of COVID-19 pandemic.
Term I examinations have already been conducted by the Board recently. The Board after discussions with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country has decided to conduct the Term Il examinations in offline mode as per the following:-
1. Term II Theory examinations will commence from 26th April, 2022.
2. The pattern of the question papers will be the same as the of Sample Question Papers hosted on Boards Website.
3. The students will appear in the examinations from the allotted examination centres as done during the preceding years.
4. The Date Sheet for Classes X and XIl will be released soon and the same will be available on Board’s website at http://www.cbse.nic.in.

CBSE Term 2 Exam Date – Student Reactions
Students and other stakeholders have expressed mixed reactions to the announcements. While many are unhappy that the exams will be offline, others are saying that the good thing is that exams will be in April.
The exam date being at the late end of April will give students enough time to complete the rest 50% of the syllabus.
It may be noted that the board is yet to announce term 1 results. Today’s circular does not throw any light on when the board may declare term 1 results.
