Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released revised dates sheet for class 10 and 12 board exams 2021. The revised syllabus has also been uploaded on the official website, cbse.gov.in, today, March 5, 2021. According to the revised schedule, CBSE 10th exams are going to be held from May 4 to June 7, 2021, whereas, class 12 exams will be held from May 04 to June 14, 2021.
The start and end dates of the class 10 boards remain the same, however, for class 12, the exams will now end on June 14, instead of on June 11, 2021.
CBSE has revised the dates of French, German, Science Theory, Science w/o Practical, Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Basic, Arabic, Sanskrit, Malayalam, Punjabi, Russian, and Urdu Course B subjects for the class 10 boards.
On the other hand, for the class 12th, the dates has been changed for Accountancy, Chemistry, Political Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics (Acad), Applied Mathematics (Skill), Hindi Elective, Hindi Core, Web Application, Tourism, Geography, Physics, Applied Physics, Retail, and Mass Media & Studies, National Cadet Corps, Marketing, Geo-Spatial Technology, Tamil, Telegu, Sindhi, Gujarati, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese, Kannada, Tibetan, German, Russian, Persian, Limboo, Lepcha, Bodo, Tangkhul, Bhutia, Spanish, and Mizo subjects.
CBSE boards 2021 will take place in 1 shift only for the class 10 students. However, the class 12 students will be allotted over 2 shifts for some subjects, but not all. The timings of the 2 shifts will be from 10.30 AM to 01.30 PM and then from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM.
Students can also download the date sheet from the official website. The date sheets will be available on the board’s website soon. To download the exam date sheet, students need to visit the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in. On the homepage of the website, students will need to click on the link which says ‘Revised Date Sheet for Board Examination 2021 | Class Xth | Class XIIth – 05/03/2021’. After this, the timetable pdf will appear on the screen. Finally, students may download and take a printout of the date sheet for reference.
The central board will conduct the examinations following the necessary guidelines and by maintaining the social distance at the exam centers. Students will also have to wear face masks when appearing for the board examination and carry hand sanitizer, hand gloves too.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level exam board in India that is controlled and managed by the Union Government of India. Presently, there are about 21,271 schools in India and 220 schools in 28 foreign countries which are affiliated with CBSE. Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools, and most of the schools approved by the central government of India are also affiliated with CBSE. The board is responsible for conducting final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year.
