With putting an end to all the exam related anxiety, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced Class 12 Result on its official website, cbse.nic.in, today. This year, a total of 13 lakhs candidates had applied for CBSE Class 12th exam, out of which 1287359 candidates appeared for the exam. It was totally unexpected for the candidates to assume CBSE would release the Class 12 Result 2019 this early! As, it was expected to be out by the 3rd week of May 2019. But, the Board announced the results around 12 noon on May 02, 2019 (i.e today), leaving everyone astonished with such a quick release.

You Go, Girls!

As per this year’s CBSE result, girl candidates over boy candidates seemed to have performed exceptionally well, again! Two girls, have topped the exam with 499 marks out of 500. Hansika Shukla, from DPS Meerut and Karishma Arora, from ASB Public School have secured no.1 rank. Being from Humanities stream, Hansika wants to pursue Psychology Honors.

In the second position, Gaurangi Chawla from Rishikesh has passed the exam with flying colors, with securing 498 marks out of 500 marks. Along with her, Aishwarya Rai from Bareilly and Bhavya from Haryana secured the same position. As per the 3rd position candidates are concerned, a total of 18 students were ranked this position in which 11 are girls and 7 boys.

This year, overall pass percentage has been marked as 83.4%. For male candidates, the pass percentage is seen to be 79.4%, whereas for female candidates, it is 88.7%. Other than male and female candidates, the pass percentage for transgender, specially aided and foreign schools candidates has been specified. And the pass percentages for these category candidates stand at 83.3%, 90.25%, and 95.43%, respectively.

With 98.2% as passing percentage, candidates of Thiruvananthapuram has topped region wise, followed by candidates of Chennai (92.93%) and Delhi (91.87%) respectively. It has been made evident that the overall pass percentage has rose by 0.04%. As the exams went pretty well for most of the candidates, so candidates had expected a strict evaluation, which made them more anxious. But, it turns out, the evaluation done by the Board was fair enough, deriving from the scores secured by the candidates.
