The Central Board of Secondary Education successfully conducted the CBSE Class 12 semester 1 Psychology exam today, December 09, 2021. The exam was held for a total of an hour and a half from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at various associated schools across the country. According to reports, More than 2 Lakh students appeared for the exam today. Students addressed the exam difficulty to be comparatively easier than expected. Direct theory-based questions were framed from the prescribed syllabus. Students who solved the specimen paper for the Semester 1 Psychology exam found the paper extremely easy to solve.
Unofficial answer keys for every class 12 term exam are released soon after the examination. These answer keys are released by various subject experts online on various social media platforms. Students can refer to these answer keys to allude to their final results. It is not absolute whether the board will release any official answer keys for the CBSE Term 1 Psychology paper. Meanwhile, students can rely on the unofficial answer keys, solution pdfs and question analysis uploaded by several educators and teachers online.

Questions from numbers 55 to 60 were repeated for visually impaired students. These questions were not based on the image, as they were for general students. General theory-based Psychology questions were framed separately.
As per the revised 2021-22 bifurcated syllabus, today’s Psychology paper covered the following chapters as a part of the 50% syllabus scheduled for the Term 1 exam: What is Psychology, Methods of Enquiry in Psychology, and The Bases of Human Behavior. Students interested in solving the question paper on their own can do so by referring to the above-mentioned chapters from their class 12 Psychology textbooks.
The unofficial answer keys are not verified by the CBSE hence, students are advised to refer to multiple answer keys simultaneously. This will help them conclude a rough score that may or may not differ from the actual score. Calculation of scores can be done with the help of the CBSE marking scheme. According to CBSE: all questions carry equal marks and there is no negative marking.
