The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the class 12 major examinations from December 01, 2021. So far, examinations for two subjects have been completed. The Physical Education exam is scheduled for December 07, 2021. It will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Students will get a duration of 90 minutes for the exam while the allotted reading time is 20 minutes.
With the remaining time left for the exam, students should prepare their best in every way possible. However, before that, it is essential to go through the syllabus and sample papers for effective preparation.
Syllabus
CBSE has released the term 1 syllabus for Physical Education on its academic website – cbseacademic.nic.in. There are five units namely planning in sports, sports and nutrition, children and women in sports, test & measurement in sports, biomechanics & sports. Step 1- Visit cbseacademic.nic.in
Step 2- Under the ‘Curriculum’ link, click on ‘Term wise Curriculum 2021-22’
Step 3- Now, click on ‘Term wise Senior Secondary Curriculum (XI-XII)’
Step 4- Click on ‘Revised Academic Electives (Group A)’
Step 5- After that, click on the ‘TERM WISE – Physical Education’ and download the syllabus

Sample Paper
In addition to the syllabus, the board has also released the sample question papers to help the students prepare better. The question paper has a maximum of 35 marks and is divided into multiple sections. Students will be at liberty to attempt a specific number of questions in each section. To download the sample paper, students and guardians can follow these steps.
Step 1- Go to cbseacademic.nic.in first
Step 2- Under the ‘Sample Question Paper’ heading, click on ‘SQP 2021-2022’
Step 3- Select ‘Class XII’ after which a new page will open
Step 4- Scroll down the page and click on the ‘SQP’ link beside ‘Physical Education’
Step 5- The sample question paper will be displayed in the form of a PDF
Step 6- Download and take a printout of the same if deemed necessary.
