The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Ahmedabad successfully conducted the Common Admission Test or CAT 2021 and will be releasing the official answer keys very soon. However, along with the answer keys, it is expected that the response sheets of the candidates will also be released on the same day. As per previous year trends and speculations, it is expected that the CAT 2021 response sheet and answer keys are going to be released on December 06, 2021.
The candidate login portal on the official site is also under maintenance at the moment. This has also led to speculations that the required data is being uploaded right now. MBA educators have tried to reach out via email to know about the date for releasing the answer key and response sheet. However, they have not received any clear indication regarding this, as per reports shared by them on social media platform.
In 2020, the CAT examination took place on November 29 and the answer keys were published on December 08. Similarly, CAT 2019 took place on November 24 while the answer keys were made available on November 29. Going back to 2018, the date for the official release of the answer key was December 06 whereas the examination was conducted on November 25.
As per previous year trends, it is conspicuous that the answer keys were released as early as 05 days and as late 11 days after the exam was held. Hence, it is expected that the official answer key along with the response sheet will be made available any day between December 03 to December 09, 2021. However, these are just speculations as there are chances that the response sheets will be available after December 06, 2021.
The exam organizers have asked candidates to keep an eye on the official website iimcat.ac.in. As per news reports, and educators, it is suggested that the CAT 2021 response sheets along with the answer will be released on December 07, 2021.
Soon after the answer keys and response sheets, candidates will be able to check them via the candidate login portal. For that, they have to use their login credentials such as user ID and password. Like previous years, candidates will get the opportunity to submit objections against the official answer keys if they have any. The facility is likely to be available for 03 days.
Based on the objections received from the candidates, the CAT 2021 result will be prepared and published. This year’s CAT question paper saw a lower level of difficulty as compared to the previous years. Candidates qualifying for the examination will be eligible for admission to the IIMs across the country.
