The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheets for the minor examinations of class 12 for the upcoming Term 1 board examinations. The minor subjects include Entrepreneurship, Financial Markets Management, Marketing, Fashion Studies, Yoga, Dance, Legal Studies, Language, Hindustani Music, Food Production, Painting, etc. Students can check the date sheet for the minor exams from the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in. The minor examinations for class 12 will commence with Entrepreneurship on November 16, 2021.

The minor examinations will begin with Entrepreneurship on November 16, 2021. On November 17, 2021 exams for subjects like Financial Markets Management, Typography and Computer Application, Medical Diagnostics and Textile Design will be held. This will be followed by Marketing and Fashion Studies on November 18, 2021, and November 20, 2021, respectively. On November 22, 2021, examinations for Yoga, Early Childhood Care and Education and Artificial Intelligence will be conducted.
Examinations for the dance forms along with Web Application and Horticulture are scheduled for November 23, 2021. Legal Studies and Sanskrit exams will be conducted on November 25, 2021. On November 26, 2021, NCC, IT and Shorthand (English) exams are set to be held. Examinations for the language subjects like Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, etc. will be held on November 27, 2021. Hindustani Music and four other subjects are scheduled for November 29, 2021. Subjects like Urdu Elective, Carnatic Music, etc. will be held on November 30, 2021.
This is followed by Food Production, Office Procedures and Practices and Design exams on December 02, 2021. English Elective, Business Administration and Applied Mathematics exams will be conducted on December 03, 04 and 06, 2021, respectively. There will be three exams on December 23, 2021, and four exams on December 27, 2021. On December 28, 2021, subjects like Biotechnology, Engineering Graphics, etc. will be held. Food Nutrition and Dietetics are scheduled for December 29, 2021; and lastly, exams for Agriculture and Mass Media Studies will be held on December 30, 2021.
Examinations for the minor subjects of class 12 will also be held simultaneously with the major subjects of class 10. The duration of each minor subject will be 90 minutes. The allotted reading time is 20 minutes and not 15 minutes like in previous years. The Board has further decided to commence the class 12 minor examinations from 11:30 AM rather than 10:30 AM keeping in mind the winter season. Step 1- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Main Website’ tab
Step 3- Under the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ category, find the link that reads ‘Date Sheet for Minor Subjects Main Examination Term-I (2021-22)’
Step 4- Click on the ‘XII’ link under the same heading
Step 5- The CBSE class 12 minor exam date sheet will be displayed
Step 6- Download the same and note down the dates for the examination.
