The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has effectively concluded the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Geography exam today, December 09, 2021. The assessment was initiated at 11.30 am for an hour and a half, where students were asked to solve 50 questions by 1.00 pm. According to the students who appeared for today’s Geography exam, most of them completed their test before the finishing time. Teachers have likewise expressed that the paper was extremely simple except for the graph-based questions which were a little trickier to handle. None of the questions were asked out of the syllabus. CBSE Class 12 Geography Answer Keys
The sample papers provided by CBSE on its website turned out to be very helpful for students. The question paper consisted of three sections and the maximum marks allotted were 35. A total of 60 questions were asked out of which 50 were to be attempted. Due to the revised pattern, various educators and subject experts find it easy to solve the question paper and publish the answer key online. The answer keys are released at various online platforms soon after the examination and are not verified by CBSE. Students who appeared for the CBSE Class12 Geography exams today expressed that the questions were framed from the syllabus only and all of them were doable. A total of 50 questions were asked to be solved in 90 minutes. Students had a choice of attempting questions wherein they had to attempt 20 questions out of 24 in section A, B, and 10 questions out of 12 in section C. Map-based practical comprehension questions were framed in the last section. All three sections had an equal weightage of 15 marks each. A total of 35 marks was allotted to this exam whereas the weightage was 45 marks for 60 questions. These were mostly theoretical questions based on the new bifurcated syllabus of the Term 1 Business Studies exam. All the above-mentioned channels have uploaded a separate video or PDF to provide answers to today’s paper. Hence, students can easily access these documents and note down the answers instead of pausing the video several times to view answers. CBSE will be releasing the answer keys to all Semester I subject exams soon. Answer keys will most likely be released in PDF format on the official website cisce.org. However, this process will take a few days. So, in the meantime, students can take a look at the unofficial answer keys and video solutions available online. The bottom line is that if a candidate performs well in the semester I exams, the marks will be reflected in their overall score.
