The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the minor examinations of class 10 for the upcoming Term 1 board examinations. These subjects include languages, automotive, tourism, beauty and wellness, agriculture, healthcare, Hindustani music, foreign languages, Carnatic music, etc. Students can check the date sheet for the minor exams from the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in. The minor examinations for class 10 will commence with Painting on November 17, 2021.

According to the date sheet, Painting will be held on November 17, 2021 while Rai, Guring, Tamang, Sherpa and Thai will take place on November 18, 2021. This will be followed by the Indian languages on November 20, 2021 and Sanskrit on November 22, 2021. Subjects like Retailing, Security, etc. is scheduled for November 23, 2021 and Information Technology for November 25, 2021. On November 27, 2021, exams for subjects like National Cadet Corps, Telugu, Bodo, etc. will be held. Similarly, on November 29, 2021, exams for other languages are scheduled.
This is followed by Hindustani Music and Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy exams on December 01, 2021 and Elements of Business on December 06, 2021. Lastly, foreign languages and Carnatic music exams will be held on December 07, 2021. Examinations for the major subjects of class 12 will also be held simultaneously with the minor subjects of class 10. The duration of each minor subject varies between 60 to 90 minutes. The allotted reading time is 20 minutes and not 15 minutes like in previous years.
The Board has further decided to commence the minor examinations from 11:30 AM rather than 10:30 AM keeping in mind the winter season. Other than that, keep an eye on the official website – cbse.nic.in for all notifications. The examinations for the minor subjects of both classes 10 and 12 will be conducted by the schools while the question papers will be sent by the Board.

Step 1- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Main Website’ tab
Step 3- Under the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ category, find the link that reads ‘Date Sheet for Minor Subjects Main Examination Term-I (2021-22)’
Step 4- Click on the ‘X’ link under the same heading
Step 5- The CBSE class 10 minor exam date sheet will be displayed
Step 6- Download the same and note down the dates for each minor subject.
