The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheets for the major examinations of class 10 for the upcoming Term 1 board examinations. The major subjects include Social Science, Science, Home Science, Home Science, Mathematics, Computer Application, Hindi and English. Students can check the date sheet for the major exams from the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in. The major examinations for class 10 will commence with Social Science on November 30, 2021.

The major examinations will begin with Social Science on November 30, 2021. On December 02, 2021, the Science examination will be held, followed by Home Science on December 03, 2021. Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic will take place on December 04, 2021. On December 08, 2021, the Computer Application exam is scheduled which will be followed by Hindi Course-A and Hindi Course –B on December 09, 2021. The major exams will conclude with English Language and Literature on December 11, 2021.
Examinations for the minor subjects of class 12 will also be held simultaneously with the major subjects of class 10. The duration of each minor subject will be 90 minutes. The allotted reading time is 20 minutes and not 15 minutes like in previous years. The Board has further decided to commence the class 10 major examinations from 11:30 AM rather than 10:30 AM keeping in mind the winter season. For more information about the upcoming examinations, it is advised to keep an eye on the official website – cbse.nic.in. Step 1- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Main Website’ tab
Step 3- Under the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ category, find the link that reads ‘Date Sheet for Major Subjects Main Examination Term-I (2021-22)’
Step 4- Click on the ‘X’ link under the same heading
Step 5- The CBSE class 10 major exam date sheet will be displayed
Step 6- Download the same and note down the dates for the examination.
