MHRD minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, shall be going live on December 03, 2020, to discuss the upcoming competitive and board exams. He took to his official Twitter handle to announce the upcoming live event and asked the students, to send in their concerns under the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive.
The timing for the live event is not out yet. Via his recent tweet, the minister just announced,“Dear students, I understand that 2020 hasn’t been the best year for you & you have been worried about your future. I will be meeting you live on Dec 3 to discuss the upcoming competitive & board #exams. Share your concerns/suggestions with me using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

There is a high possibility that the education minister might announce exam dates for CBSE board exams 2021, JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021, CMAT 2021, GPAT 2021, and other entrance exam in the meet. Director general of NTA, Vineet Joshi, has already ensured that JEE Main 2021 shall not be held in January but sometime in February and the application form for the exam will be out soon.

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has also already asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to finalise a revised syllabus for these exams. Keeping all these instances in view, candidates shall most of their queries solves in December 03 live meet.
Students have already started to pour in their concerns to discuss with the minister.
The most common concern right now among the candidates is about increasing the number of JEE attempts this year. The students whose last attempt for JEE Main was in 2020, are asking is they will be allowed to take the exam this year too.

Another concern is the postponement of CBSE boards exams. Many students have requested a postponement of the board exams by 2 months at least.

Due to the pandemic the academic session in 2020 got delayed. As a aftermath of it, academic session 2021 started late. This affected the entire Indian education scenario. Usually, by now, CBSE date sheet is released and the exams are then held in the month of February and January. The entrance exams and university admissions are then held accordingly.
However, this year, students are waiting for the date sheet to release. Unless CBSE releases the date sheet, NTA cannot decide the exam date for national level because the board and CBSE exams cannot clash.
